# Invites remains "Never" and no reminders are sent

I created a new event. I sent the reminder to “Never” because it was going to take a day or two to get all the information. I finished editing the event and set the reminder to “Today” and clicked the update button. No reminder was sent. Repeated the next day - no reminder was sent. Every time I go back into the event to update it, the reminder is set to “Never.” Do I need to create a brand new identical event to get a reminder sent? Thanks.
