How long is it going to take to empty the email queue? We have several messages with “Message scheduled for re-delivery” I would have thought that the queue would have been empty by now.

Those will not send, you will need to resend them.

In the Actions for the message, “Resend” was selected, but there seems to be no change. So why does it say “Message scheduled for re-delivery” if that is not the case?

Right, unfortunately in this scenario the Resend does not work. Not sure why but this has been observed previously when this problem happened.

Ok.. thanks. Hopefully that will be corrected before future issues.

Just to add a data point that I am now looking at other solutions. I understand that it is impossible to guarantee 100% uptime, but the multiple sustained outages per year make it very difficult to conduct troop business. Our communications workflow now includes “wait an hour to see if the email actually sent and if/when it doesn’t, recompose the email in Gmail and send it that way instead.” Unfortunately, that only works for straight communications and does not handle anything that requires RSVPs. In those cases we have to tell people to manually go find the event in the calendar and RSVP that way.
