Is it possible to announce events via Text Message (similar to email), with RSVP links included so they can “click to RSVP” in the same manner as they do when they get the email announcing or reminding of the events.

That would be a great option however I never received the last text message I tried to send out I don’t know if anyone else received it.
We have found the text option to be troublesome because of the requirement of the carrier. If your data entry is very detailed and you capture the carrier and input it then this works well. The same notifications that are sent out via email would often be to large for text. Perhaps if a separate field for text notifications could be set up and used when notifications go out.
