I would like the ability to create custom tags that can be applied to any members that can later be used for event invites.
I know that the system comes with some built-in “Roles” that can be invited to events but it would be great to have custom Roles that can be tagged on certain members and that new role could be used for invitations to events or as email recipients.
It would be possible to do basically this with Custom mailing lists, it has been asked before to have Custom mailing lists usable for event invitations. If that ever gets implemented it would basically allow when you are asking just from a single point that you add users to, rather than adding a tag to individual users. Search Custom mailing list event invitations in the community to find posts for that and add your support for them.
