Planning an Event

In the current Event > Attendance > Attendance Sheet, there is a helpful series of toggles, “Customize Fields Displayed.” Is it possible to get Member Type (Adult, Scout) and Position (leadership) added as optional columns? Thank you in advance.

Our troop is trialing Trooptrack and having the same issue issue.

e.g 1. we have a fundraising event and would like to break it down. How do we do that? Trooptrack seems to have 1 RSVP option for Scout and 1 RSVP option for adult. Our current software you can RSVP to multiple options

e.g 2 we often have an event with

  • RSVP $xx scout
  • RSVP $$ adult
  • RSVP $0 adult driver

@ScottAtkinson3, That is not currently a feature in TT, the only thing I could think of would be to manually enter a credit for a driver in their Money account in this particular instance. Other times where there are additional things with charges it is possible to add optional additional items to an event however it would not be automatic and people would need to select to add them to their RSVP.

I can’t find any info as to how the Tag ID field works/what its used for.

Those are used for Money Transaction categories, if you are using TT for keeping track of funds you can use those by navigating to Manage, Money, Manage Transaction Categories, those will then show up under the Tag ID field. Those categories allow you to search and view money account transactions by category in Manage, Money Book.

I’ve added location addresses under “Manage Locations” but the address isn’t reflected in the calendar post or under details when the invitation is sent…only the name of the location is reflected. Is there a way to include the address in the details of the post/reminders etc.?

@Chino_Troop_201, I see that as well, now I am not sure if it has always done that and my previous Locations that included address were just Browser Autofill or if something changed. I will get this over to the support team.

Is there a way for TroopTrack to allow more RSVP options or for there to be a custom “role” that people could volunteer for? I want to include the option for adults to RSVP to an event and indicate that they are willing to use their truck to tow our troop trailer. If I could customize the RSVP responses it would be something like “Yes/No/Yes with trailer”. Or, is there any way others have tackled this question using other TroopTrack features?

There is not a way to allow more RSVP options. I can think of two things that can be done today, have the person add in an RSVP Note indicating they have a truck or can tow a trailer, or you could add an Event Additional Item for purchase and just make it $0, the user would have to manually select it.
