@KelsieC, I would like to move this Question to Site Feedback (if that is the right category. and even though it wasn’t my post originally) to request that this change be implemented:
I think that once a person has RSVP’d No, they should not receive any reminders for the event.
People who have not responded, or who have responded Yes or Maybe, should receive reminders (IMO).

Our developer is already aware of this problem and we are doing our best to get this fixed. We hope to have that change made early this week and then go live early next week.
