Anyone else missing the Website module entirely under the Share menu?

Hi everyone,

We are trying to initialize our unit’s hosted website for the first time, but the backend hosting module is completely failing to provision. The website configuration options are entirely missing from our Share menu.

I’m posting here to see if any other units have encountered this specific backend glitch, or if a TroopTrack admin/dev can take a look at our setup.

We’ve gone through troubleshooting on our end to rule out the known configuration errors:

  • Admin Privileges: Confirmed our account has full unit-level admin rights and the “Edit web pages” permission is explicitly checked.

  • Hosting Settings: Home Page Type is set to “TroopTrack Pages” under Webmaster Tools.

  • Subdomain Flush & Cycle: Successfully changed our subdomain to a temporary placeholder (xyz), verified it updated across the app, and cycled it back to pack123456798 The validation holds, but the root menu items remain missing.

  • Redirect Loop / Page Not Found: Navigating directly to the base directory at https://…trooptrack.com/share throws a “Page Not Found” server error. Attempting to go to …/share/pages triggers an immediate routing bounce back to the main home dashboard.

  • Deep Link Bypass Test: If we force-load the creation interface using the direct deep link (…/share/pages/new), the WYSIWYG template editor page actually renders perfectly. However, hitting “Save” fails on the backend script validation layer, throws a server error, and hard-redirects us back to the home dashboard.

This behavior leads me to think our subdomain string is validated but the parent container row or root node for our unit’s web pages table is missing, orphaned, or corrupted in the database schema.

If anyone has managed to break out of this loop without a developer intervention, please let me know! Otherwise, we could really use a developer or database administrator to look at the database rows for the our subdomain configuration mapping and force-provision or repair the root directory node for our hosted public website tables.

The support ticket has been requested.

Thanks in advance for any insights!

After posting this and the support ticket, later this day a new item appeared under the share menu called “137 Web Site”. However, clicking on it takes us to a page not found page, just like the dashboard page, and there does not appear to be any links to create new web pages or share pages.
