All of our most recently-added members are showing up multiple times in the event RSVP list. There are currently ~ 25 names showing up multiple times. Please help
This has been reported recently. I posted a way to fix it temporarily until @dave is able to get it fixed permanently in two of the linked topics below.
Hi @MauraCaddell,
This is an issue with the old way of inviting people, however; there is currently a new way of inviting people. It’s called dynamic meeting invitations. To enable this feature simply click the gear icon< Edit Troop Settings< TroopTrack Settings.
This will bring you to a list of settings you can enable. Simply click the “use dynamic meeting invitations” to turn it blue, and you’ll be all set up.
This will remove how duplicates of multiple people are added to one event.
Sorry for the long wait time, and response on this.
Thanks,
David Keener

Thank you for this! I have been struggling the last few years because of this problem of new people not being added into existing events. I went to not inviting anyone until the last minute causing other problems with communicating in a timely fashion. This will make my job so much easier!!
I do not have the “use dynamic meeting invitations” option in the Settings. Is there some other workaround or place on the site I might locate this function? I am getting multiple RSVPs from adult leaders with, one yes, one no. A few of the leaders said this must be happening automatically because they have not RSVPd to the events.
That setting is enabled by default for units that joined TT after that setting was implemented, you won’t have the ability to toggle it off. I also have dynamic meeting invitations enabled and did have a situation recently where I had a user with both a Yes and No RSVP.
It seems to be automatically registering people to attend and selecting “Yes” without any input from them. It’s becoming quite problematic because our mentors are all LEOs and this is an OT assignment for them. We are trying to ensure we have two mentors signed up for events but then also use it to audit their hours. It also seems only to be happening to recently added adults …
We are having the same problem of a girl member appearing twice once with a “yes” RSVP and the other with a “No Reply”. Does anyone know why this is happening?
@dcurcio, @SumaPenrose, @Pushkaraj,
This new issue is different from the original issue in this thread. The original issue was members showing up in the members list multiple times for an event. This new issue is members showing up under multiple RSVP responses, Yes, No, No Reply, and or an Automatic RSVP. Further testing will need to be done on this issue.
