I think it would be helpful if you could mark off individual portions of a merit badge when a scout completes them. For example, Environmental Science part 3 has 7 different experiments/portions to be completed and no way to mark each one off as it is completed. As it stands, it gives an incomplete picture of what percentage of the merit badge has been completed and what still needs to be worked on.

Camping and Cooking and Communication are similar with “compound” requirements.
