I’m brand new, and I’m just trying to get things set up and started going. I’ve found two accounts in my accounts page that I don’t remember making, so I’m assuming they are default accounts, and I want to know what’s the difference between the troop account and the troop primary account?
No replies? I suppose I’ll just have to make a guess and see what happens. I hate that.
I don’t really have an answer. For our pack, we closed and deleted “Pack Primary Account” and just use the “Pack Main Account”. I don’t recall if these were renamed from their default.
We did run into a minor issue where event payments had been posted to the account we ended up deleting. This caused some transactions to be orphaned and we had to manually re-create them in our surviving main account.
I was able to rename the two accounts: troop checking account and troop savings account. Now it makes a lot more sense to me.
