Is there any way to have one user account/leader assigned to multiple patrols/dens? I don’t want to provide unit level access.

Not at this time. I’d suggest looking further into the community about this. There are several posts with this question and some people have offered work arounds for it.
The workarounds for this are not good. You’ll have to give unit access to everyone and manually create your mailing lists. Can’t wait til this gets fixed.
