Change in the leadership position

Hi there,

As part of the new program change in Scouts Australia, the leadership positions have been changed as well. They have changed it to be more streamlined all throughout the stages.

Would you please assist us with the following changes:

Please update the following existed leadership position

  • Patrol Leader → Patrol Leader (S)
  • Assistant Patrol Leader → Assistant Patrol Leader (S)
  • Sixer → Patrol Leader ( C)
  • Seconder → Assistant Patrol Leader (C )
  • Pack Leader - Unit Leader (C )

And please add the followings:

  • Unit Leader (J)
  • Patrol Leader (J)
  • Assistant Patrol Leader (J)
  • Unit Leader (S)
  • Patrol Leader (V)
  • Assistant Patrol Leader (V)
  • Unit Leader (V)

I can definitely get those added for you. Just to make sure I get the right things added what does the S, C, and J mean out beside each position?

Hi David,

S is for Scout section
C is for Cub section
J is for Joey section
V is for Venturer section

Scouts Australia is streamlining the leadership position names so they are all the same across the sections.

Thanks for the clarification! I got those positions added for you. Just so you know you’ll see the old ones still, that way those aren’t deleted from the records of scouts who held those positions previously, but you’ll also see the new youth leadership positions.
