DEFERRED: Event RSVP Changes after Cart Checkout

For Events with Payment Required after you complete your Cart Checkout and Payment there is no way to go back and add additional Guests to your Ticket. I found two work arounds as an admin I could Refund the participant allowing them to go through and complete the process again, or temporarily remove the Payment Requirement and then go to the Attendance Record Attendance/RSVPs page and add additional guests, save and then re-enable Payment Required to RSVP. Neither of these work arounds is great.
It would be great if there could be a way to add additional guests and go through the Cart Checkout a second time to pay for those additional guests, without affecting the original payment or RSVP.

Thanks @AaronStorey. I like this idea but I’m going to hold on it for a while. The shopping cart change has been so confusing to so many users that I want to give it time to settle. Not to mention the various bugs we’ve had - that didn’t help with the confusion.
