FIXED: App cart checkout

This morning I tried to use the app to add myself and my son to the cart to checkout for a outing. Both of us had a $45 charge. It allowed me to place the first one in the cart but froze on the second one and wouldn’t let me add it.

I switched to the mobile version in safari and it still had my outing in the cart. I was able to add him and checkout. I used my account to checkout and we allow negative balances. I didn’t have enough and wanted to pay the rest out of my sons account and couldn’t use two family accounts to pay the balance.

Secondly is there a way to allow family accounts to transfer money between them to pay a negative balance?

I am not sure the idea of using two different accounts from a Single Cart transaction was ever though of when implementing this feature. Unless TT decides to add that as a feature for now you would need to do two separate transactions.

It is possible to transfer money from one Account to another, I would think only someone with full permissions would be able to do it.

I double checked and in order to transfer money from one account to another you need to have the Privilege: Manage money accounts - Add debits and credits to youth money accounts. I just tried it and interestingly that privilege gives you access to everyone’s Money Account even if the user only has Household Level Access. You could suggest this as an Idea and depending on Community Support and time involved to implement the dev team may consider it.

Primarily the issue is the app not allowing a second event fee to a cart. The web version did there is a issue there.

I knew we could do it with money account access it was the within a family portion. I mentioned as a nice to.

@jteague I don’t think the suggestion of interfamily transfers would go over well with the community in general because everyone would have different ideas about what the rules should be, and that would lead to complexity in the code, which would probably give me a headache.

I’m looking into the mobile cart problem.

Dave

Things always seem simple for the basic application but in the broader picture I could see the problems it can cause. @dave THANKS!

I’ve fixed the app so that you can add multiple items to the cart. The update should be live soon, but you won’t need to go through the store. It should just update automatically, though you may need to close and re-open the app.
