No Guests Allowed, but you can add guests in the RSVP

When we create an event, we can choose the option of “No Guests”. However, when people RSVP, they still have the option to ADD guests. Is that right? Or once that button is toggled, should the option to add guests, be turned off?

Hi @SRUEDU,

What event is this occurring on, because I just tested this on our beta account. When I went under the “advanced” tab for the event and unselected “guests allowed” it didn’t allow me to add guests to that when RSVP’ing.

It was 2 of events that just happened. One was the PiPa Shooting Sports and the other was… I’m drawing a blank. GRRR! It doesn’t happen every time. We just happened to notice it b/c the Shooting Sports was one where the girls could NOT bring guests and the option to add guests was still on there.

But I just tested it out by making a new event and it wouldn’t give me an option to register a guest.

Hi @SRUEDU,

Do you have another event coming up soon where they can’t bring a guest? It’s just that the PI/PA shooting event already happened and I’m not seeing which girl RSVP’d with a guest for that event. I even went and made an attendance sheet for that event (to try and see if anyone had still put a guest on there) and it didn’t appear that anyone had RSVP’d with a guest.

If there’s an event that hasn’t happened yet coming up, and you’re seeing this issue, let me know because I definitely want to re-create this issue and figure it out.

If we get another one, I’ll let you know. We’ve checked all of ours and they won’t let us add guests. Maybe it was a blip?
