TroopTrack Down?

@Keener-Trooptrack is TroopTrack down or experiencing some kind of partial outage. For the last 30 minutes or so I have been getting the “We’re sorry, but something went wrong.” error most of the time. Sometimes it works for a few minutes, then I get that error again.

It is running slow but I am able to get in and move around.

I just got a call from one of our other adult leaders reporting the same issue. I can confirm the issue is intermittently coming up on my Windows 10 computer on both Chrome and Edge, both on and off VPN. I also see the issue on my iPhone, both in Chrome and using the TroopTrack App. When it does work, it’s VERY slow, but more often than not I get the error.

@Keener-Trooptrack @AaronStorey we are getting the, “We’re sorry, but something went wrong” errors again. This has become a consistent issue, and the lack of response to emails and calls is also frustrating. Is there an underlying and ongoing systemic issue going on? When will TroopTrack be stable?

I was seeing some issues this morning when I was doing some work in TT. I just logged in right now and got in with no issues however it was intermittent this morning. @dave, @Tyler, @Keener-Trooptrack?

Thanks Aaron, it seems to be back up at the moment. So does seem intermittent. My son received a 505 and a 504 gateway error about 2:15 Pacific.

Yesterday, our customer support team ran into this same problem while giving a handful of new customer demos. The site was working and then randomly error pages would appear. Our customer support team quickly informed the tech team and the tech team was able to reset our TroopTrack servers. This seemed to fix the issue.

Our tech team then went as far as making sure this problem would be fixed by going through the laborious task of replacing all the previously used servers with brand new ones. Their best guess was that one of the TroopTrack servers had a faulty hardware piece of some sort and it was putting too much load on all the other servers.

Now that all servers have been replace with new ones, this problem should not happen as often or even at all.

Thank you for the info and for working so diligently to get the system back up and running. Even with these hiccups here and there it is still far better than other systems I have seen and well worth the price.
