Update Link in TroopTrack Header

I’m not sure what terminology to use here, but I’m noticing that one of the main links on the TroopTrack header section (at the top of pages) contains a link to an old “comatose_pages” page, but I cannot figure out how to update/delete that link/page. I’ve circled the link in red in the screenshot below. How to I update the site so that clicking this icon directs to a different page?

@AaronKoop, that should link to your Troop Public Landing page, if you have an external website perhaps you don’t really have a TT Public Landing Page. I would suggest changing the setting for Webmaster tools to use TT for your website create a Troop Public page and then switch back to your external site. That way at least there will be a page for someone to go to when they click your Troop number and get that comatose_pages link. If you do use TT for your website then something isn’t working properly and you would need to email support@trooptrack.com.

Ok thanks. The link does take me to the TT Public Landing Page. I confirmed that there are essentialliy two URLs that go to the same page:
…trooptrack.com/share/pages/37178
…trooptrack.com/share/comatose_pages/37179
Those both show the same content and editing one changes both. So really they are the same thing, but it is just weird that the link in my original post takes me to the old comatose version and I cannot change the URL for that link. But it appears this is not really a problem, just an oddity that I cannot control.

We also have entered our Public Site in the Webmaster Tools which is outside of TT. Would switching the Webmaster Tools setting to TroopTrack Pages and then back to External Site fix the URL or is that unrelated?

Nope that is unrelated. I guess I thought based on your message that you were having some kind of problem loading the page. My TT system also shows a link containing the comatose_pages, not sure why it uses that URL for the Link from the Troop numbers within TT but I am sure there is some kind of back end server reason they are referencing the same page so it is really just two different URLs for the same page. Interesting this was linked at the bottom as a Related Topic, I guess they used to have comatose in all URLs but removed it back in 2016, I guess maybe they just missed this one Link.

Right, I saw that article and since it was so old I figured something must be wrong (or never got updated) on our site if I’m still seeing comatose links. Thanks for your help, I’ll just keep things as they are here.
