Why did event email go out?

My event for today is set with send invitation on 2/23 and don’t send reminders. However, an event email went out last night. I’m not sure if TT considered it an invite or a reminder since you can’t tell from the email itself.

I did edit the event yesterday to mark that it was cancelled. I also sent an email with that info. Did the invite/reminder go out because I edited the event? Is there anything I could have done to prevent that?

Can you let me know specifically which event it was? Did you delete the event or simply mark it as canceled? Thanks!
