Adding Troop Access

We recently had a cross over from Den to Troop, both of which use a different Trooptrack account. We don’t want to go through the hassle of merging account. Is there a way to duplicate existing Cub Scouts to add troop level access? Some Crossed over scouts still have younger siblings in the Den, so we need them to be in both the troop and Den.

There is no way to add Troop level access. My suggestion would be to have the Cubs Transferred over to the Troop, that way their Cub Advancements go with them into the Troop. You could then take an export from TT or ScoutBook and import them back in to the Pack account, or manually create them in the Pack if there aren’t that many. That way the Pack account is only for RSVPs for Pack Events. The parents will need to exist in both Units and could merge their User ID so one will allow them to log into both Units and switch between them.

Hi Aaron, thank you for the reply! To move over the scouts, would that be a Help ticket to transfer? or is there a way to initiate online? I tried searching the Community, but do not seem to find the exact way.

Yes, you would need to select Support - Contact Us and complete the Help & Support form. Unfortunately the Support - Member Transfer option does not support Pack to Troop transfers, only Troop to Troop, I have asked to have this expanded to support Pack to Troop Transfers it just hasn’t been implemented yet.
