Is there a way to update all scouts school grades at one time (as opposed to updating each one individually)? I can not find any way to do this other than one at a time. I know this can be done in other products.
Thanks!
Scott

To be honest, I didn’t even know anyone was keeping track of grades in TroopTrack anymore. Haha. Unfortunately, there isn’t a bulk grade update at this time.
I use it because of Cub Scouts’ dichotomy between listing dens by grade for convience but crossover by age.
I would find it very helpful to be able to advance all members’ grades at one time. My AHG Troop only has one unit at each level so it is helpful to store grade information so that we know who will be changing levels next year.
We keep track of grades.
We keep track of grades… although b/c it’s so labor intensive to change the grade for each child, I have many boys that extremely behind in grade changes… that would be nice, even nicer would be if the grade auto changed
We keep track of grades too. I remember asking this very question a few years ago and was surprised to hear it couldn’t be done in bulk.
I would love to have an easier way to update grades!
Hi Matt, I wanted to bring this to TT Staff’s attention. Looks like this idea is pretty popular.

We would like to see this feature as well.

I found an IDEA thread which would cover this question.
Please go there, the original post, and post your comments so we can build momentum for not only bulk change of grades, but ranks as well.
We track grades too - in fact, ALL Girl Scout troops should be doing this, since GSUSA divides their levels based on GRADE and not AGE.
Our church database software (Breeze) allows us to set a graduation date once and forget about it. Every student is bumped up one grade every summer automatically.
Having said that, I’m not sure how I would use this feature in our Boy Scout troop.
We use it for Cub Scout dens, but the den level identifies the grade: Tiger is 1st grade; Wolf is 2nd grade; Bear is 3rd grade; Webelos is 4th & 5th grades. (This applies to community units, not LDS units.) It would be nice to have it increment the grade level when promoting a den to the next level. It should be able to handle Lion dens, which are kindergartners. So a boy that has grade K needs to increment to 1.
@mlsully2002, any update on this? GS promotes by grade each year, not rank advancement, so it’s a pretty big deal for us. Especially when you have a large troop. The amount of time needed to open each member profile and update the grade is ridiculous. Perhaps implementing the “Promote” feature to also ask if it should promote to the next grade level as well?
Coming to this post a year later. We run a Royal Ranger Outpost, each patrol is segregated by grade level. It would be awesome if I didn’t have to go through 50-60 Rangers to adjust their grade levels.
