Email Invitees link on calendar event - wall of text?

When using the ‘email invitees’ link on the calendar event page, I broke up the message into readable paragraphs, but when it sent out, it became a wall of text for the recipients.

Is this intended, or a bug?

If it loads like this:

It didn’t load properly and won’t save your formatting.

If you hit refresh, it will look like this:

The way it is supposed to. This will retain the formatting. Because this problem occasionally pops up, it is our intention to replace the current editor.

That is what happened. I remember thinking that page looked different, but
I ignored it.
