Emails Not Being Sent 4/2

We have had several issues last few weeks where emails drafted from TroopTrack fail to get delivered. Recently some email messages take hours to get sent out and over the last few days, we’ve had some messages get stuck in “Failed” state. We use the email distributions built into trooptrack.

I’m not sure if there is a pattern, but I’m wondering if there’s some content in the drafted emails (e.g. long emails, attachments, hyperlinks) that is causing this problem? Though I’m not confident if this is the case - Its silly to believe this would occur in today’s world.

Is there anyone that can help us look into the cause and let us know when any resolution is planned? This is a huge issue for our troop and enough cause to think about moving to a different platform if this problem continues for long. I see many discussion topics over last year around similar issues, it would be nice if TT team can share the root cause, we can contribute some tech support if given the opportunity.

There were e-mail issues on Monday the 31st however that was resolved. There have been greater than usual e-mail issues over the last several months, there have not been any single specific causes, the causes have been varied and always on the back end. There have been many changes and upgrades happening to keep TT running on modern up to date underlying technologies, sometimes when upgrades are performed it causes issues that they did not come accross in testing. TT had to change e-mail providers recently and that has caused issues getting everything to work with the new provider.
For me personally I have felt the pain and annoyance at times however as a long time user and having built a relationship with Dave, I believe it is a great product. These hiccups will get ironed out and it will have just been a short season of issues in an overall stellar history of uptime, reliability and product improvement.
