Please add a bar code generator and scanner to the equipment log. I want to track and issue gear to individual scouts and scouters for specific events. I want to print the barcode info on stickers or tags and attach it to the equipment.
I’d like that information to be kept for history on each piece of gear.
I’d also like the smartphone app to scan the equipment during checkin and checkout so we can assign it to individuals.
The smartphone app should be able to collect and update data for an individual event without internet access. I want to verify/change who is responsible for a piece of equipment while on the trail. Once we get back to the front country, the app should push the changed data back to the troop track servers.
