Paypal payment via RSVP

Is there anything wrong with PayPal payment processing via RSVP?

I’ve tried on both Firefox and IE, and both times right after filling in ALL the credit-card information that Paypal asks for… get the following message on my screen in a giant window in multiple languages.

Specifically we have an event named "

We are sorry, we are experiencing temporary
difficulties. Please try again later. If this error occurred while
making a payment, avoid duplicate payments by checking your Account
Overview before resending a payment.

For some browsers, this problem can be resolved by clearing or deleting cookies.

I got this to succeed by logging in with my Paypal account instead, and it worked like a charm.

Aren’t we supposed to be able to choose to use Credit Cards instead?

I just tested it and it appears to be working fine. That may be a PayPal issue, but it worked for me. I created an event and paid for it with a credit card through paypal without logging in.

Can you see anything wrong with the way I’ve got the event configured, or with the Online Payment settings of my Pack?

I see nothing wrong with your settings. Maybe try again in an hour? That’s a PayPal error.

I looked at your bug report and I have been examining it to try to pinpoint the problem so I know how to describe it in my report. I will make sure the developers know about it. We recently did a fix on something in that area and it may have nudged something else out of place.
