Private Website features: open links in new tab, go to private page by default

I have a custom “intranet” landing page from where I build a table of links to various pages (Eagle scouts, swim test instructions, commitee meeting notes). I made this because the hamburger menu is very cumbersome to use, with the precise clicks on “arrow” icons needed to open submenus. Not easy to navigate.

For intranet pages, I would like those links to open in the same tab rather than a new tab. Clicking around the “intranet” becomes very wieldy with all the open tabs.

Also, when logged in, clicking on the troop name will go to the Public Page homepage. It should go to the Private Page homepage when logged in. As a workaround, I added “if you’re logged in, click here” to the top of the public page which is not really useful.
