Sending emails from gmail

Hello - I know there have been some recent email challenges, but has anything changed with the ability to send to mailing lists from personal accounts (gmail)? I’ve had two in the past week that have not sent, but when I send it form within TroopTrack it works okay.

Hi Scott,

A user reported this issue late last week and I was able to take a look at it. I’ve gotten this over to the tech team as sending from a personal gmail that’s an authorized sender on the email list should be allowed.

What email list specifically are you trying to send to?

We are still having the same issue and have been for a month. @Pushkaraj has been communicating with me via email, but it still hasn’t been resolved.

@Pushkaraj - For some reason I didn’t see your reply on June 8. I believe the 3rd party email is still not working the way you would like.

On July 7th the flood gates seemed to open on all the June emails I had sent via 3rd party (gmail). I sent an email to a test distribution I have on the morning of the 8th and it was received by everyone overnight; so about 18 hours later.

If you would like some more specifics to troubleshoot let me know. If 18hr delay is ‘solved’ let me know that, too. I don’t know if I need immediate, but I know it used to be a lot quicker than 18hrs.
