Troop-defined default permission sets / profiles

I have participated in several discussions about this very topic, such as this one:

Suggested permissions

The default permissions of self for scouts, and household for parents seems sort of limiting. I was just curious if others use a different standard for users in their troop.

This might be one of the most commonly discussed ideas for general improvements to TT.
