In the Event Achievement dropdown, many are outdated or not appropriate. For Instance an event by itself shouldn’t get you to make rank. When the program last changes, a lot of things were changed and I don’t see any of those changes listed. I was specifically looking for Champions of Nature but notices most of the current Webelos items are not listed correctly and bobcat is missing from everyone.
With the last changes the individual requirements were placed under the rank rather than having them as seperate requirements. Perhaps there is a way to have a sub menu under the rank that would allow the individual requirements to be selected for an Event in a future update.
As to the outdated items listed, those can be disabled for your unit under the Gear Menu and Manage Active Achievements.
Many things are repeated and some things are missing.
For instance, under Webelos, there is “Stronger, Faster, Higher - Personal Fitness” and “Webelos Adventure: Stronger, Faster, Higher” and “Webelos Adventure: Stronger, Faster, Higher (2016 +)”
There is a Webelos elective Champions for Nature. It is one listed under Lion and Tiger but not Webelos.
The “Arrow of Light Achievements Used by Your Pack" items don’t align at all.
It would be nice to have all the achievements and a way to quick select only the achievements that are currently obtainable 2024+. I just had our Pack make the change to Troop Track, but I’m really concerned about achievement tracking.
All of those that you listed are old requirements and should be disabled on the Manage Active Achievements page. Here is my list with the new 2024 badges and most everyting else disabled.
The best way to assign completed requirements to Scouts is using Achieve - Record Progress (Bulk) that will allow you to select what scouts were present at a Den meeting and select what you worked on then approve it for all of the scouts that were present. The option to select an advancement that will be worked on via an event is nice as a planning feature however it is not currently showing the individual requirements with the changes to the ranks for 2024. That will be a potential feature add at a later date. In this case the bulk update is the best option and you would just put in the Event description what requirements will be worked on at the meeting.
You have cub scout ranks listed but not any other scout achievements except Everyday Tech for Lion. There are 6 required adventures and 16 electives for Lion and you only have 1 elective showing. Unless I am missing something, you are missing a lot on your list.
Correct, for the Event list they are not all there, only the Rank is listed for the 2024 update. It will not show the individual rank requirements currently. That would be something the development team would need to add for the event drop down. That is not going to be available soon. Unfortunately it is not working the way you want it to currently, perhaps that could change in the future.
However, if you go into Bulk (or an individual scout profile Achievements tab) then all of the individual items are listed. Here is Lion as an example both from the bulk page as well as an indivual scout profile page.
