How do I re-subscribe participants?

I just tested out the magic mailing list feature. I noticed that my two scouts (names replaced/redacted below) are listed as “Unsubscribed from all TroopTrack emails”. They don’t have email addresses in their account, nor do any of the other scouts in the Pack. However, these are the only two that have this showing up as an “Invalid Mailing List Recipient”

I can’t find where I can undo the “unsubscribe from all TroopTrack emails”. I don’t want them to get emails per-se, I just don’t want the noise when any of the other leaders send messages.

What’s different about these two scouts is I created their accounts manually, prior to importing data from Scoutbook/MyScouting. So I must have done something wrong.

How do I fix the info below?

Invalid Mailing List Recipients

The email was NOT sent to the following members for the reasons shown below:

  • John Doe1 : Unsubscribed from all TroopTrack emails
  • Jane Doe : Unsubscribed from all TroopTrack emails

I have seen this before however not exactly sure the situation that causes it. It is not a problem though, if you ever add an e-mail address to their account then they will be subscribed.

Thanks Aaron, but for the two users, they’re young minors in cub scouts so they don’t have an email account to add. I agree it isn’t a functional problem, but it will be noise in the automated email status message as soon as their den leader tries to email the entire den.

You see that status when you send a message? I have never seen that before. Anyone who manually unsubscribes can be re-subscribed in Communicate, Settings, Communication Problems.
