We are wondering if there is any sort of Unit config we can set in Trooptrack for “message sending” to default to the option of all recipients. Screenshot below.
We would love to have a per-Unit feature toggle where we can enable this on a global basis. Doing so maximizes the opportunity that replies and reply-all to messages originating from Trooptrack go back ‘into’ Trooptrack, thereby using the canonical roster and providing an audit trail in the Recent Messages feature. It helps minimize errant, unintentional YPT violations by Scouts also.

I was just looking for this as an option. Our scouts (and some adults) frequently forget to change that setting on their emails which causes YPT communication issues.
Hi has anyone found a way to do default this? We would like to have this option in our TroopTrack settings. Most scouts don’t bother changing this option and we are facing the same sort of troubles as listed here. Thanks!
No, this is not an option. I will bring this up to Dave as that reply would present a YPT issue if the youth does not manually add their parent or other adult to the reply e-mail.
I would be in favor of this being a global setting, as currently this feature is only available in “send an email” but it does not exist when emailing from events etc. Basically an automatic "reply all’ for all communication paths.
